Due to excessive rain this week, we will play Delaware on November 14th on Carrs Hill Field, our artificial turf field near Mad Bowl.  The marching bad has the field before us, so we will kick off as soon as possible after they finish at 2:30.  The B-side game will follow around 4:30.

The rugby teams at Maryland and Virginia Tech have been suspended for the semester.  Virginia was scheduled to play them on Oct. 31st and Nov.  7th respectively, and it is still to be determined whether a make-up opponent(s) will be found for these weekends.

This Saturday, Virginia will go on the road to  take on the #10 nationally ranked Navy team.  Virginia will step up and prove that they are a force to be reckoned with after a hard week of preparations for this game.  Virginia narrowly lost to Navy last year 14-10, with the majority of the second half spent deep in the Navy red zone, so the entire team is fired up to claim the victory they deserve.  Kickoff for the A side is scheduled for 12:00 pm, with the B side game immediately following.  Stay tuned for scores and the match report after the game.

Virginia traveled to Georgetown Saturday and came away with a disappointing 17-5 loss. See the news section for the match report.

The Alumni Team defeated the Undergraduate Team 22-19 on Saturday, September 12.  See the news section for the whole match report.

Our traditional Alumni Weekend will be taking place September 11th-13th, 2009.  We pride ourselves on our strong connection with our alumni base, and this weekend allows us to keep this bond going, as well as get in a great pre-season game.  Details to follow.
